DESCRIPTION:Firstly\, a meander through the creation and evolution of BASI
C in the 1960s and '70s and how\, as the first programming language design
ed specifically for a non-technical audience\, it relates to Python. Then
an explanation of how we can morph Python to allow programming in a BASIC-
like flavour of Python\, but with the full power of a modern Python develo
pment environment available\, allowing historic BASIC program analysis. Li
nes of Python code can be intermingled with lines of BASIC\, each accessin
g the other’s variables\, and runtime code analysis techniques such as i
nteractive debugging\, profiling\, and code coverage are available.
